Found by metal detector around 2000 at Ypres (Belgium) scene of some of the most intense fighting with English and French bringing the German advance to a stalemate. Made of aluminum salvaged from ordnance. Size 8 with rounded very broad 9.7mm band with a series of low flats engraved with lattice or pound marks. Encrusted and degraded from burial.
