Gilt bronze, size 4 ¾ for the small finger as was the custom. Circular section band in 1 1/4 full coils, to 4.4mm width. One end with perfunctory representation of a serpent head. The other end perhaps longer originally.  The coil or helix was a favorite form for Vikings and evidently held supernatural significance to them. Textured from burial. Sound wearable condition and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certification of authenticity.
