Gilt bronze, size 10 with tapered overlapping terminal band. That feature is specific to Viking rings and thought to derive from avoiding the circle for which was sacred. Lenticular bezel with a curious asymmetrical band designed probably representing a map. Perhaps commemorating a voyage. A medial crescent flanked by zig zag (mountains?) and hatched curved line (river?). All executed in light, but crisp, uniform, clear detail. Excellent and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
