Gilt bronze, size 8-8 ¼ with some slack allowed by the overlapping tip band, characteristic for Viking rings. Shield shaped bezel stipple engraved with a cluster of circles, perhaps intended to be floral, but most likely a reference to a celestial event. Of course, possibly both. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
