Rare form, identified as Guiraud type 6e with a virtually identical example illustrated in Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.63. Gilt bronze, size 3 ½, formed as two flat coils with crossed bands evolving as the centers and the opposite ends curled around the band. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Exceptional preservation.
