Gilt bronze, size 9 with 4.8mm rounded face band, thickened at the bottom in the Roman taste. Lozenge shaped bezel, probably cut with a figure or signet, now obscured by degradation from burial. Guiraud type 4. See Ancient Rings, p.62. Surface textured with the 24karat gold overlay renewed. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
