Gilt bronze, size 9 with 1.7mm rounded face band with stepped flared shoulders. Raised oval bezel engraved with a stylized eagle, the symbol of the Roman Legions. This likely was the ring for civilian (probably retired) wear of a Roman legionary. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
