The period called the Dark Ages and the time span of these rings is testimony to the decline in progress of that period. Oval bronze, size about 2 ¼ for wear on the small finger, between the first two joints. 3.6mm deeply rounded band. Stepped oval bezel with a lattice pattern. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.104. Excellent as found condition with good patina. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
