According in detail with an example found in the Fishpool Hoard, identified as English and France, 1400-60. The rings are thought to be English. See Medieval Jewelry, Marian Campbell, pl.4 upper left. Gilt bronze, large size 12 1/2. 3.0-3.4mm width band, with deep relief decoration of angles (spiral) bard flanked by pellet bands. Crisp execution and preservation. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. The Fishpool hoard, numbering over 1200 pieces, primarily coins, was found in 1966 in Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire, England. The dates on the coins make it particularly valuable in dating the jewelry which they accompanied.
