The Dark Ages after the fall of Rome, when Christianity was overtaking paganism but still persecuted in provincial areas. Size 2/3 for the small finger as was the custom. 2.3mm rounded face band with thickened bottom in the Roman tradition. Raised bezel of scalloped lenticular form, actually forming a cross but arguable if necessary. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
