A Medieval mystery! 7th-9th century AD. With scalloped bezel in symmetrical eight pattern decorated with dot and ring motifs, six surrounding one. The incongruity of the placement of the dots, demonstrated even here, with other examples, has never been explained. The significance, undoubtedly supernatural, is now lost. 2.5mm reeded band. Especially crisp preservation. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
