Austro-Prussian War period. Gilt bronze, size 10 with 3.8mm band flaring to the stipple decorated shoulders. Shield shaped bezel with stipple sides. These were often dated with a monogram, but absent here. These rings were fashionable at the time particularly among Austrian soldiers. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and is jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Handsome, attractive wearable example in rare large size.
