Cambridgeshire, England. Size 4 for wear between the first two joints of the small finger as was the custom. Bold twist motif completely around its circumference, finely delineated. The outer edge worn from use. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
