Gilt bronze, size 8 1/2. Rounded face band, 2.2mm. Raised lozenge shaped bezel. A signet ring, these were purchased plain as here and cut to order or sometimes, by the owner to provide a signature seal for legal matters. Many, particularly those worn by women, were not so modified, but simply worn as purchased. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored.
