A fine substantial ring with rarely found features. Size 9 with lapped tip band as found with Viking rings. 3.4mm at the lap, swelling to ridged section shoulders engraved in stipple patterns. Raised circular bezel inscribed with a cross on central circle. The beams with circle ends to one and quatrefoil ends to the other. Surface textured from burial but all imagery clear. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
