Bronze, slightly oval form with 2.5mm rounded face band. Raised crenulated edge circular band with relief images of Jesus and Mary, both crowned. This is a blatant affirmation of Catholic doctrine in the face of new interpretations introduced by Luther in 1517. As found with fine patina and excellent preservation for the period.
