9th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze. Wearable size 10 3/4, 3.1mm width, with well rounded face. Sized during its working life. Surface textured from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
