EUROPEAN LADIES FASHION RING, C.1300-1400, SIZE 4 1/4

Silvered bronze, size 4 1/4. Narrow band, 2.8mm flaring to the ridged, stipple decorated shoulders which rise to a garish oval section pyramid form which was fashionable in the 14th century only. The bezel set with a blue “stone” (replaced).  Some wear from use and light surface texture from burial. Professionally refurbished with the heavy pure silver overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
