Copper, 0.58” inside diameter and 0.65” outside. The use of beard rings by Vikings is well documented though very few genuine examples survive. Larger example such as this were also worn in the hair, particularly around the ears. As found with dark patina and some green oxidation. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
