Stepper oval bezel which, engraved and serving as a signet, (which identified the owner and could be used to seal legal matters) now obscured. (In Ben Hur, the title character identifies himself by stamping Messala’s tablet with his ring which bears the signet of Quintus Arrius). Surface with uniform significant texture from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Wearable popular size.
